Random Inspection
The random selection of passengers for inspection is a regulation by the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC). The process is carried out using a random selector equipment, which randomly selects passengers for a personal search, inspection of carry-on baggage, and the use of explosive trace detectors (ETD). This inspection is performed by the APAC (Civil Aviation Police) and aims to ensure the safety of passengers during the flight.
